Affects dihydroflavonol 4-reductase gene expression. It is thought that a ternary complex composed of TT2, TT8 and TTG1 is necessary for correct expression of BAN in seed endothelium. Based on clonal analysis and other methonds TTG1 has been shown to act non-cell autonomously and to move via plasmodesmata between cells.Localization and levels of TTG1 affect patterning of leaf trichomes. |
